This painting was so much fun! I painted "Little Pitcher of Sweet Flowers" alla prima, meaning layers of wet paint were applied over more layers of wet paint. Alla prima style paintings are typically completed in one session.
I was lucky enough to secure one of the coveted spots in Carol Marine's painting workshop in Eugene Oregon, right before she stopped teaching in the United States. Carol Marine's book, "Daily Painting," is one of my favorites!
