So happy to be contributing my latest mixed media work to Dear Fleisher, a biennial invitational exhibition and
sale of original 4x6-inch works of art in postcard size.
More than 400
artists donate 700 pieces, all of which are displayed anonymously until
sold. In the spirit of Fleisher Art Memorial’s mission to make art accessible, all
work is priced at $50 each and sold on a first-come, first-served basis.
The sale provides many community members with their first opportunity
to own an original work of art, and all proceeds benefit Fleisher’s
award-winning arts education programs!
Dear Fleisher weekend begins with a special preview party on November 18, 2016 for friends and supporters, the only chance to scope out all of the artwork before the sale opens to the public. The weekend culminates in a day-long public sale on November 20, 2016. An enthusiastic crowd, many of whom line up hours before the doors open, vie for the chance to buy work from premier artists, while enjoying the ambiance and camaraderie of this special event.
