Blanche the Dancing Bunny spends her days with children. When evening comes, she transforms. She pulls on her peach tutu, ties her ballet shoes, fastens her party hat, and steps into the studio ready to dance.
Her first leap is pure release, her tutu catching light as she bounds across the studio floor. In these moments, she feels free.
I painted Blanche mid-leap, bold brushstrokes capturing her power and grace. The blues and peach create movement and light across the painting.
