BACKSTORY & PAINTING PROCESS

I begin each mixed media floral painting by sketching flowers from life onto a brightly toned canvas. As I work, I rotate the canvas, allowing the arrangement to evolve organically from multiple perspectives.

Layers of acrylic, pastel, and graphite create depth, texture, and unexpected moments of color and movement. The result is a painting that feels both expressive and timeless, celebrating the enduring appeal of flowers and the joy they bring to our homes.
