Henri, my original oil painting of a pink pig, earned a place in the 40th Berks Art Alliance Juried Show. This juried fine art exhibition hangs in the Schmidt Gallery at GoggleWorks Center for the Arts in Reading, PA.
Henri, ready for his gallery debut
I painted Henri with loose, expressive brushstrokes in pinks, creams, and soft blues. Bold, blocky strokes of oil paint build his snout, his ears, and the cool background around him. This pig painting belongs to my collection of animal paintings, where every animal has a personality of its own.
